Description
Porcelain piece made through slip casting in a plaster mould. Created in my studio from a real tomato selected in markets in Madrid.
The piece is presented open, transforming into a small vessel designed for the table and the culinary world. It can be used for delicate gastronomic presentations. The lid fits onto the piece, allowing the contents to be revealed like a small surprise object at the table.
Each piece preserves the original texture and shape of the fruit, in this case more rounded and uniform.

Lead time: 2–3 weeks.
Each piece is handmade, therefore slight variations in shape, tone and finish may occur.
Food safe.
Microwave and dishwasher safe.
Hand washing is recommended for greater durability.
